Help me build Proxmox server

sonicsonic Veteran

I'm building Proxmox server (specs below) and split into 3 VPS to run WP blog on them.
CPU and RAM is fine, but i wonder 600GB SAS is good or not? Should i run 2 x 300 GB SAS, do i need RAID for data safe (i always rsync all data to backup servers)?

SuperMicro server
CPU: E5-2620v3
RAM: 32GB
Space: 600GB SAS 15K

I would suggest you to use 2×300gb width zfs built-in raid1 for nice read caching

Is running Proxmox without Raid on one SAS 600GB fine?

Use ZFS-raid1, but get more RAM for arc and some fast SSD for l2arc (slog/zil).

Also why SAS disks? At that size just buy SSDs.
