Hi, this is from i3d SmartDC in Rotterdam, close to your server.
And from Equinix, Frankfurt, Germany:
Last one is pretty tough for small route, seems NL-IX is missing on at least one side.
@bluesaga, that's really tough indeed. Who is your ISP in Germany?
We have AMS-IX but no NL-IX
@SplitIce it's Aruba, their DC5 in Germany from Equinix, don't know which one it is exactly, though.
From Amsterdam (Ziggo/Libertyglobal)
China Telecom. I think you can understand this even though there are some Chinese.
@bluesega These guys it looks like - http://bgp.he.net/AS200185#_asinfo
It looks to me like you are getting a 3ms overhead for the cogent<->telia handoff. Sucky.

And special shame on Amazon for horrible quality bandwidth.

Seems you dont have IPv6 running so i cant deliver you that.
You should see the difference that IPv6 tunnel does on networking, pretty insane how bad the network in SG is.
@trewq iiNet have a pretty horrible route too. But that's their own fault.

Yep, their Frankenstein internode, ii net, TPG network has way too many internal hops and some weird routes. I miss the good old internode days when they actually cared about network quality.

How about a POP in SP, BR?
Your problem is not Amazon, they peer that off in the same city. Your problem is PCCW.
A fortune in BW costs and half of Argentina does not route via BR.
@William true I suppose. And AFAIK PCCW don't have any useful BGP communities either.
@dosai should be better now, and as good as I can get it until we get LINX
@inthecloudblog I just dropped my last couple million on my private jet. But yes, I'm very interested in home internet traceroutes from South America. Fortunately we are getting some peering at FL-IX soon which should make our connection South America better as soon as our upstream fixes a router miss-configuration.
