Why not just purchase remote DDoS protection? A regular VPN service is only going to kick you or go offline.
cause R-D-P is expensive.
Thanks for the advice
I've been reading a bit but I'm a bit confused, do I need a tunnel, reverse proxy or vps with open vpn?

Would I be able to use Linux on the vps with ip tables and connect to my windows homeserver without problems?
Alright, I see you can only use Linux.
