Looking for Asian Servers with good performance in PH,IN,ID

Hello,
I am looking for servers with the following requirements

Hardware:

  • 2/4 core CPU

  • 8 GB of RAM

  • 1/2 TB of HDD

Bandwidth (what is really important for us):

  • Looking for 1 GBPS (Gigabyte per second) connection

  • Traffic we can survive with 50 TB per month (perfect would be unmetered)

Regional and International Bandwidth

Something that you can play with on your side to get a more competitive pricing in SEA is to differentiate between national / regional traffic and international traffic. For example, if you would provide us with servers with about 100 TB/month of national / regional bandwidth and 5 TB/month of international traffic would be perfect.

If in India in 1gbps,it will cost you a lot more than 500 USD with bandwidth 50 TB. 1gbps unmetered Wil not be less than 10k per month .I was quoted 2k for cabinet with 100 Mbps

  • Depends on the deal. It doesn't have to be specifically in India, but it has to have good service there

  • Most of Indonesia international b/w under 100 Mbps.

Ask @dediserve and @winnervps for custom quote.

    few others ardhosting.com, idcolo.com, and id.daxa.net

    Thanked by 1winnervps

ID : The most stable & affordable provider in Indonesia is CloudKilat.

    Pros :
    Unmetered bandwidth.
The server is stable and have great performance.
    The local connection is superb!

    Cons :
They are kind of strict of bandwidth abuse.
They claim that they'll give you 10gbps local and 500mbps international, but really they will give you cap depend on the plan you choose.
The international connection is not good.
Accept local bank transfer only (I can help you with this if you want).

The 8GB plan (8CPU/8GB ram/8GB swap/160GB SSD) will cost you about $75 (doubled for $150).

BTW, personally I will stick with DigitalOcean Singapore.

    #Sorry my bad English.

    @makemesteaks,

We can do servers in HK. As I'm sure you know, bandwidth is generally quite expensive in Asia, with only a few options that would be able to fit in your $500 budget ($150 would be impossible!).

Bearing in mind 50TB would be around 160Mbit average, suggesting you will need around 500+mbit for extended periods.

I'm not sure exactly how good connectivity to ID/PH/IN would be but we could conduct some tests.

I may be able to do a server for you on the upper end of your budget.

In terms of hardware, I have a large variety to choose from, including the following:

    Intel i3-3220, 4TB HDD, 8GB RAM
    Xeon X3430, 2TB HDD, 8GB RAM
    Xeon E31230v5, 2x2TB HDD, 16GB RAM

Bandwidth wise, I can provide 1Gbit port, and 50TB traffic.

Price will ultimately depend on exact requirements, but ballpark, around $500 would be doable.

Sorry. If you really mean GigaBYTE per second, that's 8Gbit, and for that it would cost much more your $500 budget. Ballpark would be around $2-3k for that.

    No.

Good good. Then it may be possible with the given budget.

8Gbit is an odd speed any way :)
