    How can I manipulate a community i owned...? You're aware applegirl/etc left it to me to maintain when they left right?

    As for solus, you can think what you like, but if that was the case solus would have locked the panel already with the backdoors in every copy of solus. It isn't possible to enable 'a few features' in the solus code available since it'd require fairly large changes to the code base. If it was so easy why haven't more people enabled automatic virtio, etc?

    It would require fairly large changes to the code base? I would swear that you're the one who publicly bragged how you implemented own IPv6 code to SolusVM which a bit later you announced as your own control panel. Wherever I log into BuyVM control panel I see SolusVM and nothing else than SolusVM. And your small implementations don't make it less SolusVM!
    I expect more changes more your code even some redesign in future but your Stallion is still nothing else than nulled SolusVM.

    The IPV6 stuff is easy since we simply wrote a replacement page. There's at least 1 other company that did the same a while back using perl of all things. It's not hard, just quirky. We announced the IPV6 RDNS support in February and rolled Stallion out the door in August, so i'm not sure how that's 'a bit later' :) I could understand if it was like...a month after but nope.

    How would we have enabled private IP addresses on OpenVZ on solus exactly? Floppy disk support in KVM? Full virtio on network & IDE? PowerDNS powered DNS servers w/ IPV6 merged into the same setup? How about that Stallion can actually keep up during bandwidth accounting? How about full IPV6 bandwidth accounting?

    How about full OpenVZ nodes based on debian? The solus part that handles the command calls is compiled against RHEL 5 & 6, you can try running the programs on debian but it won't work due to debian being quirky with setuid().

    We'll admit that we reused the templates to cut down on development time, but you're arguing with the person that has spent quite a few months reworking my own code from being 'ok this needs to just work for now, screw being pretty' to 'hey I could probably sell this'

    But you can't do it yet and you know it. To do that you would need to drop away modificated nulled SolusVM completely and write own code from scratch.

    Tell ya' what.

    You pick a page from stallion and i'll paste the code on here :)

    I already got buyers lined up for stallion, about 10 of 'em.

  • OMG, I was afraid of this BlueVM guy..

    As you can see, he copied the text and pricing schema of Buyvm (and sound/pronounces like that too).

    Also, I don't think you want to buy of a guy who posts this kind of crap

    Why? o_O

  • because that bit.ly link.. he's little bit paranoid with some porn site behind that link.. :P

    You can just add a + at the end of any bitly link and it'll give you the details of it :) I'd highly recommend you always do that for links from people you don't trust/etc.

    Holy crap is that a joke? Not only does BlueVM sounds like BuyVM but their site and exact quotes line-for-line are very, very, very much alike! Whoooa!

    BuyVM y u copy BlueVM? trollface.jpg

    They should edit SolusVM and call it Smurf.

    Thanked by 1Francisco

    Um, sleddog, get out of that ivory tower before you take a fall you can't recover from.

    It's just a shame that both @sleddog and @heinz in trying to defend @BlueVM have done nothing but actually endorse a scammer. It's great that you guys have taken the opportunity and invested the time to crap all over a reputable provider (BuyVM) whilst defending a provider with a very questionable history (BlueVM). I hope both of you give yourselves a pat on the back for a mis-informed, mis-directed, emotionally motivated, job well done.

    It's not a matter of me being paranoid. It's a matter of that the link doesn't work on some of the networks I'm on.

    Why post a link that doesn't work for some folks instead of a link that works for everybody? All I get is either a blank page or a "This website is blocked" page.

    Can someone please kindly post a working link? Thanks. (edit: Never mind. Not worth the trouble.)

    That's just a product of your twisted imagination. I never ever defended @BlueVM. Who the hell is he anyway? I don't know him. Neither I posted anything about him anywhere. Prove me wrong otherwise go back to your dumb double standard "cry me a river" monologues at #frantech ;-)

    @Heinz said: Prove me wrong

    Nice selective quoting, why don't you quote the whole post. Clearly you have an agenda against a reputable provider, that spaghetti between your ears seems quite disfunctional.

    @Heinz said: go back to your dumb double standard "cry me a river" monologues at #frantech ;-)

    I have no idea what that means, but seeing there's quite a few people here whom are from #Frantech please enlighten us all. I'm damn interested in reading one of these "poor me" monologs... bring it.

    What happened? Someone remove your pinky from your "special place" and slip a thorn in instead? Seems you have huge #Frantech issues.

    PS: Don't forget to clean up after the delicious sauce....

    @Joel,

    It was not my intent to defend BlueVM or to endorse scamming. The intent of my post was to rebuke BuyVM for saying the BlueVM's post was "self-promo". In my opinion representatives of BuyVM frequently use this forum for "self-promo", and hence my comment about the 'pot calling the kettle black'.

    From there it unfortunately got out of hand. I apologize to @Francisco and @Aldryic for my harsh and unprofessional language.

    Though I do still stand by my 'pot... black' statement.
