The server may be used as a VPN if you wish, but please note that there is NO DIRECT ROUTE TO CHINA. For China, you may expect latency to be above 200ms. You can still expect low latency to Hong Kong (<10ms), Singapore (<30ms) and Japan (<50ms) and so on.

Server is intended to be self-managed and without a backup facility. Please take care to keep your own backups.

No IPv6 at the moment. We have it, but no automation yet... So it's not currently available.

In the long term, would be good to fill it up with some useful info! If I remove the link, it will never come back. Now that you've brought it up, I will see a constant reminder to do something about it .

Well, there is a direct route to China Mobile Broadband, the third second largest ISP in China.

EDIT: Looks like China Mobile is the second largest ISP as of last year.

Why HDD too big? That increase cost. For VPN it just useless space

Bitcoin payment is a little bit annoying though.

It's a storage VPS... Not intended for VPN usage. You CAN use it for VPN if you wish but that is not who it is for. Who want's a VPN in HK without Direct China route?

I dont post offers very often but its by no means a first post. We have been on LET for almost 2 years, and we have been offering FREE VPS to many LET users since we first became known here, most of which remain active today.

For those who are not comfortable with a non-refundable payment method, feel free to consider our standard offers (which are outside LET price range so I cant make those offers) where Paypal IS accepted. Otherwise we probably arent for you.

This offer isnt for everyone. We will have differrent types of offers for different types of people with different needs. This is particular offer is a budget, HK based, storage solution.

I have to say the offer is not bad.
I did meet some trouble with carrotpay.
However, only accepting bitcoin policy is entirely understandable.
Besides, it is pretty hard to find a 350GB storage VPS in Hong Kong with this price.
For me, I do not need direct China route.
With 3TB traffic, it can be a good image hosting and a backup server located in Asia.
