Guess I got a 540 CPU instead of a 530. Still only 4GB of ram though, but it is cool.

Same, ordered before this and still haven't received.

  • I received the i3-540 with 8GB ram.

  • i3-540 4GB RAM on mine

  • Seems they disabled virtual media on the IDRAC. Guess I can't easily do my own install.

I see no reason to run winblows at all. I am not a fan of the people who have it made, and their practices. I get normal users need to use it for some things, but I will not support the way the O.S. has gone, nor will I ever use it for myself again. Just not my bag of tea and if I have the choice, and I do, it will never be installed on another of my computers.

Not sure if it came with IPv6 if it does need to ticket for it. I don't have any in my panel either. I just set mine up and shut it down for now as I have some other work I am doing before I set this one up.

Ditto here. Seems a bit hit and miss with the orders. Im ok to wait but I will annoyed if I get an email along the lines of 'due to volume of orders we have run out of stock. Have a refund on us'...

  • BG32BG32 Member

aight im pissed, if this wasnt a ripping deal id be up in supports grill by now. Their provisioning seems to be random, how can orders after it said sold out be completed whilst those who ordered minutes after this thread was made be left with nothing.

  • Face factor?

  • How to install win ? I will be so grateful if who can give a install guidance.

  • would be a shame if a LET thread opened dedicated to OneProviders shittyness...

  • LOL at the complacent cucks that kicked up a stink when I expressed my concern with my speeds and wanting better.

Don't listen to these people folks, these are the type of people that get walked all over throughout their life.

If you ordered one of these servers and are locked at 100 megabits contact support to resolve the issue.

  • Anybody uploaded ISO in IDRAC? Why is it so slow? I am getting speed of 800 kbps while uploading from my Online.net server.

  • ymgswx said: Who successed install win on this server?

Running Windows 2012 here, I tested both RAID0 and NoRAID. You can follow this tutorial: https://joodle.nl/how-to-create-your-own-windows-template-for-kimsufi/

  • @sin said:

Do they have any FreeBSD templates? On another server I had I did a quick template install when an old FreeBSD template to see what the interface showed up as and then did a custom FreeBSD 11 install afterwards with the interface name and it worked good.

They do have FreeBSD templates but i want a custom install and i want actually FreeBSD to manager the disk mirroring with ZFS on top of it (yeah i' don't really need speed).

  • I'm impressed with the ServerBench result, 1Gbps uplink wherever possible ... especially the 100+Mbps uplink to India, where I am.

Don't understand the disk layout fully ... it's RAID1, so sg0 and sg2 -> sda fine. What's a laptop SSHD doing as sdb? Also looks like sg2 and sg3 are aliases for sda and sdb. Hard disks are pretty old (~48000 hours, 5.5 years) and sg0 is starting to fail (Raw_Read_Error_Rate = 2). See https://pastebin.com/QjanvPfa -- message was getting too long.

  • seems odd that people using the hidden order link get provisioned first.

  • I just wish they don't run out before getting to those of us who were quick to order after the thread went up.
