Looking for kidechire replacement
Hey guys,
my lovely kidechire box seems to be dying
So I am looking for a replacement. Would prefer a location in europe with a price of max. 3 Euro per month.
CPU doesn't really matter
RAM 512MB
Storage 100GB+ (HDD is fine)
500GB @100 MBit/s+
Europe or atleast good connection to europe
can be NAT aswell
This is just for backups so it can be a cheap (maybe not 100% reliable) host aswell. I could not find any suitable plans. Currently my favorite is wishosting but they are quite above my budget

Is OpenVZ okay?
Yeah, sorry forgot to mention that OenVZ is fine. Would prefer KVM though...
You could migrate to their https://www.scaleway.com/ service, there you get 50GB storage on the cheapest 3 EUR plan, and 1 EUR/mo per 50GB for additional space. May end up paying 4-5 EUR, but since the box is quite powerful (2GB RAM, 200 Mbit unmetered, all SSD storage), maybe you can find some additional uses for it aside from only backups, to justify the cost.
@pbgben still got this?
Do you really need 512MB ram for backups?
For you Bae, I make space.
Not sure why I chose 512... Have enough for 2GB each, ran out of IP's
you can get 250G storage from @quadhost on the i-83 NAT for 20gbp/yr
Expect non existent support though. So keep that in mind.
Serverhub has a Frankfurt, DE location now:

But the 125GB plan ($15/year!) has just 128MB of ram. That's really plenty for lots of things, and I still see no explanation of why you think you need 512.
request @Hassan to give you more space and adjust the price accordingly, currently you can get 90 gb for 16$/year (VZ-1024) which seems awesome. https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/110640/4gb-ram-150gb-disk-openvz-4-99-mo-1gb-ram-kvm-4-99-mo-dallas-miami-los-angeles
You can also get a Hetzner Storage Box or use BunnyCDN Storage if you can live with FTP.. Dunno much about Hetzner, but for Bunny Storage, $0.02/GB for storage, and no BW limit accessing via FTP, but don't really know if it can be used for this purpose.... @BunnySpeed can you clarify?
