[cPanel question] transfer site with low available space on server

a quick question, i have a 90GB single site in a 130GB server.

if i want to transfer it to a bigger server, i need the double of 90GB to transfer it? or can be done with the 130GB?

If you transfer using cpanel I thing 130 gb is enough since cpanel transfer per account.

But test it your self since last time I move cPanel/WHM more than 3 years

You can disable compression and it'll be basically rsync.

Rsync is your best bet here.

I think cPanel (or WHM) supports rsync copy through express account transfer or something alike, haven't been using it for a while.
