Hello,

I'm after a DMCA friendly storage server with at least the following:

  • 1024MB RAM
  • 500GB+ Storage
  • KVM
  • BTC Payments

Is there anything out there?

    To be honest, no host checks your server unless its of issue. If you are hosting for yourself.. then you have no issues. I recommend googling which countries do not enforce DCMA and buying a server in that country. Note that this may impact server speed.

    (i.e. I use kimsufi for noncritical stuff and its not the fastest even when I check the connection on east coast, it is 50-100mb/s in Europe).

    This. Most secure offsite option is dedicated hardware, KVM vs OVZ isn't going to drastically slow down any host that wants to see what you're doing.

    I was hoping to get a job at HVH tweaking people down a few Mhz a day until they're rivaling a 4.77Mhz 8088. I should have a backup plan, though.

    I was at your site earlier and your TOS says no other uses than a web server will be allowed. So no rtorrent + super private trackers?

    I should update those TOS. But even then DMCA is not a thing where I live nor where the servers are housed. If I receive a valid copyright notice in the country the server is hosted (France) I will let you know and have you "Remove" the mentioned content, but wont be scanning or whatever those US based hosts do.
