Backup tool for windows recommendation please.

Please recommend me a free backup tool that supports

  1. File versioning

  2. Auto detect changes and back them up instantly

  3. Amazon Cloud Drive support

I've used backblaze before and it was great, but it was $5/mo/PC, so i was wondering if there's a free solution to back up data on ACD (I have the 59.99/yr unlimited plan). Thanks in advance!

Comes pretty close but to fulfill all those features it will probably cost you a few dollars more then free.

I use https://www.syncovery.com/ for this. But it's not free, but if you buy a license, you can use it one several computers so long as it do not run jobs at the same time (but who checks?)
    It have all your needs

How about some some free softwares too?

    @sanvit, have you tried duplicati?

Perhaps not a backup tool, more a sync tool.... but it has versioning in the paid versions.

Yes! I'm actually testing that on my laptop. However, they don't seem to have 'Auto Backup' every time a file changes.. Kinda important as I edit a lot of documents on it.. :(

    Thanks for the reply though!

They look good too! Thanks! :D

  • @sanvit, you should be able to tweak settings for incremental backup and perform often checks for any changes. By the way, I use the previous duplicati version, not the new one (2.0)

I got it refresh every 10 mins. Gotta see how it goes....

The previous duplicati doesn't support ACD according to this

  • Give the rClone script a try. GoodSync is great too. Or roll your own with CrashPlan.

  • Look at Azure backup. Its free from Microsoft and backsup a Windows server nicely MS storage platform. Fast and the prices are pretty much same as Amazon S3

  • i guess window server is having free inbuilt tools knows as windows server back.. in Tools please follow

  • duplicati works well there are a couple UIs for Rclone out now as well.
