Looking for a self-hosted solution for dynamic DNS

Hello,

I'm looking for a self-hosted solution that would work like no-ip / dnsexit / other ddns solutions.
It would be used just for personal needs, I don't need any billing stuff, neither a graphic front-end nor any fancy stuff.

Any suggestions?

    Run a script on your nameserver that you ping with your information over an HTTPS request?
