What do you think the odds are that they bought a Hostbill license?

Heh. Odd that I see this as evidence in support of nulled WHMCS. The one-man shithost that didn't have a website until November bought hostbill, yeah sure ;)

Someone may have sent the url to hostbill...

  • At least the name now makes sense. Ex-Amar, Now-Prison Bitch.

  • what if I have a legitimate $10 WHMCS license I bought from them and paid fully and the domain I'm using it on shows up as not authorized on https://www.whmcs.com/members/verifydomain.php ? Would I have to contact them to get it authorized?

Shouldn't be possible. When a license is issued and then applied to an installation, it immediately reports the URL and IP to WHMCS. If the URL or IP changes, the license reports invalid. It really shouldn't report valid and not pass a license check at the same time, at least not in any typical situation.

check on whmcs site and look up at the domain is correctly, if not, just click issued and whmcs check up your license automatic.
