Looking for some options

So basically I am considering to setup an own webhosting environment for the websites of the clients that are using my managed webhosting services instead of using a reseller. Given I'd be the only one managing things I've thought about using a free cp
and instead paying for cpanel license going for a "premium" Server (VPS or Dedi).

Now I am not sure what options I have but I'd be willing to pay about 20€/mo for a VPS/Dedi that meets the following requirements:

SSD Space: Atm 80GB should suffice (needs to be easily upgradeable though hence opting for a vps with dedicated resources)

Network: Should have a fast network port & routing (BGP perhaps) and be in a renowned DC.

Location: Europe (just not Asia/US/Canada)

Bandwidth: 1TB should be easily enough. We can start with less if upgradeable at a fair price.

DDoS Protection: Yes

IPv4: 1 should be able to order more on request though. Normally Id have the clients on a shared ip but if some request a dedicated IP that should be not a problem.

Provider: Good ticker response time, ACTUAL support and happy to scale with my project.

Price tag as I said: 20€/mo

Aight, that's about it for now.
Let's see what can be done.

  • A BuyVM Slice would work really well

    https://buyvm.net/kvm-dedicated-server-slices

But they're not available in Lux yet, if you're able to wait a bit until @Francisco has them setup you'll get a pretty good server which can scale out of it.

  • i recommend providerservice https://www.providerservice.com/products/cloud-server/
they have server in german and netherland

    Check https://www.liteserver.nl/en/ssd-vps-series-kvm-vps/

Their KVM-SSD-1024 is 10€/mo but have only 75GB SSD, their network is great i use them for some months now. @LiteServer can tell you if upgrade is available from panel.

EDIT :With the promo code in their site, KVM-SSD-2048 will be arround 16€/mo wich will be perfect for you.

@emperor, Thanks for recommending us! :-).
The storage on our plans is upgradable. A support/sales ticket will need to be opened with the upgrade request. We can help with resizing the partition(s) :-)

I can't recommend anyone with a good price for the SSD requirements in Europe, but consider core count if you'll be hosting over a dozen or so sites. Server with 8GB RAM and 100GB SSD is no good for web hosting if you only have one core really, mostly if you'll be using a panel that has many things packed with it.

Thanks for the tips mate :)
Currently looking at Netcups offer as I bave been happy with them in the past.

    Intel® Xeon® E5-2680V4

    12 GB DDR4 RAM (ECC)

    4 dedicated cores

    60 GB SSD / 480 GB SAS

    1 Gbit/s unlimited bw

    @15€/mo

  • second this for NL. you could start off with the 8GB/100GB plan and seamlessly upgrade later.

They provision a separate 10gb ssd volume for your '/' mount. So upgrading the /mnt storage is easy with them.
