LET dedicated server provider quality?

in offers section some dedicated server provider offer great dedicated server spec at cheap price, how about their quality and hardware performance? do they have hardware replacement SLA? how long is standar time for hardware replacement if getting hardware failure?
are their dedicated server good enough for web hosting production?

    These are questions better asked to each specific provider you are considering. Each provider's answer will be different.

    its not a bad idea in principal but that would require some sort of coding to allow current customers to give them ratings in a number of areas, validation is complex too, this is LET, its vanilla, if vanilla cant do it, it does not happen.

  • The problem starts with "great provider". What makes a provider a great one? That depends largely on ones personal mix of criteria and values.

    I can give you some hints, though.

    Don't fall for big numbers. A provider talking about 300 Gb or even 3 TB backend pipes is not necessarily a fast one; they usually don't have the bandwidth for the fun of it but because they have a large number of customers.

    Don't fall for big numbers, part 2. Do you really need an e5, newest version, min. 8 cores? Do you, or more precisely, does your use case, really need raid 0'ed SSDs?

    One of the most important factors is YOUR level of expertise. If you know your way support can be reduced to "exchanges failing parts quickly" and maybe "connects ipmi quickly". Also be sure to look at the finer print. 10 min. of helping hand can be free, cheap, or badly expensive; they can be available 24/7 or just 8/5 or 12 /5, etc.

    Are they open or secretive. Example: Will they tell you about their router and model and single or dual or will they not? (And, of course, does that make any sense to you?).

    Finally: If any hardware fails it's pretty much always either a disk or a power supply. Simple solution: If you really need around the clock availability, just be sure to have a server with redundant power supply and raided disks,

    Oh and ... you asking that question and asking it the way you do: Forget it. Get yourself some promo from a well known provider.
