  • You looking at LEB on your phone (or other cellular device)? Seems the bmi.js thing is used by some cellular providers and may be some sort of caching/compression system. Probably not evil.

    Never seen that before either. Thanks. May explain a couple of phantom problems we've been having.

  • You can get around that by using a VPN after you got your 3G-connection established. That's how I'm doing it. It also enables you to use Voip properly.

    Well, I wouldn't mind if they would just reduce the amount of data being transferred by just compressing the html and images. It's just bad that these aggressive compression has these bad side-effects. However, I guess for us its circumventable. The laymen has bad luck. In the end its a bad behaviour by the providers.
