I will go to Turkey. How do I bypass the VPN ban?

I will go to Turkey this weekend. According to my Turkish friend, VPN services in Turkey are banned. How can I use VPN in Turkey? I have 2 VPS. I went to Egypt sometime. There is also the ban on the use of VPN. (Military coup time.) I used the TCP port 443, but it is very slow. Any other solution?

Do you own a vps? Then you can setup your own vpn server. I am in Turkey and running one with port udp/1194. So that port is not blocked.

So only major VPN firms must be blocked. Maybe you can find a less-known one.

TorBrowser with bridges also working.

There is no ban at the moment.
You can use whatever you want.

There is no VPN ban at the moment in Turkey.

SSH tends to work nearly anywhere, just speed limited in cases (like in Iran) - OpenVPN on other ports is also usually good bet, Shadowsocks, IPSEC sometimes (open for enterprise)...

O don't think there's a ban right now.
That being said I don't use free / public vpn's. You can try installing openvpn ir softether. To be on the safe side, change the port from default to another one. I for one have no issues with Softether.

Nyr's script is specific to openvpn and whereas the above mentioned script installs multiple protocols like shadowsocks, open connect, tor bridge etc.. It takes around 10 minutes to install on the 5$ droplet and cane be deployed on multiple servers as it uses ansible to make things easy.
