i need one vps with powerfull cpu to run the application. but the application will not be on for 24 hours, probably 3-4 hours per day or even less. the cpu should be the similar level as E3 1270.

additionally, the disk is 50GB, the RAM is 2GB, data transfer 500GB is more than enough. budget is $10/month, any quote? Thanks.

If your crunching times are flexible, a lot of vps providers have off-peak cpu capacity to spare. Maybe clarify on the time-criticalness of your application?

4 out of 5 of my 2GB OpenVZ VPS at HostUS.us got high end cpus so might want to ask HostUS.us which VPS plans have them https://community.centminmod.com/threads/hostus-us-holiday-deals-2gb-openvz-vps-25-yr.9874/ - bloody awesome for $25/yr - they're consistently the fastest when I update my Centmin Mod server's nginx/php (source compiled) as I usually update servers in 20-30 simultaneous servers and HostUS.us ones always finish first

Sure, lots of vps have fast cpus, I saw the OP's question as looking for one where it was ok to use the cpu at much heavier load than typical VPS usage. That exists but tends to cost, or at least you have to inquire with the host about it.

yeah, but it's been out of stock of the $25 vps for a long time. what a pity.
