Help restoring cpanel always need resetup database user

i have new reseller client and he asked me to restore all cpanel accounts under his old reseller hosting, restoring worked well but accessing all domain show "error database connection"
the most of them is wordpress so i open wp-config.php and copy db_password to database user
this is on all domain that using database, so very very painfull to edit database user one by one

i don't know where is the issue,, is the issue on my cpanel server or his old cpanel server

help me to fix this issue

  • Were they located on the same drive location i.e /home,
    Make sure usernames are the same as the old server as all his dbs will run username_db

    if you generated new usernames on you server that well be why
