Most lame file system, NTFS? My horror story :(

NTFS is one of the few things Microsoft did right, by and large. It's showing its age now, somewhat, but it's still not a bad FS, and it's not like you really have another (sane) option if you're using Windows.

  • I've never had any issues with NTFS (other than fragmentation) leading to data loss. The only times I've lost data have been from drive issues. Such as being dropped.

  • Never had any issues either, don't care to test for aesthetic bullshit -- but it works for what it is.

Never had any data loss that wasn't my/the hardware's fault either.

Worse issue with NTFS ever was the one bug in Windows 7 or Vista I cant remember that kept wanting to do a check at boot or some crap. Annoying, but was fixed.
