Possibly alibaba rather than aliexpress, aliexpress is for small one off orders, alibaba is the Wholesale/b2b site for large orders, at 4K units I suspect some of the sellers there would be ok with talking to you.
For that quantity you need to speak to HP partner/wholesalers and get a 'special' price, they will come down to next to zero I suspect, anyone with that many caddies (for sale) for old EOL hardware made some bad business decisions to begin with and will be happy to offload them for shipping + a few cents p/unit.
you will halucinate , the price what i have recive from a USA partner was 6.37 and one of Romania 5.80 eur. So is verry unrealistic

because they were considered retired in 2010/2011 and all G6's are EOSL, no one is going to be keeping a HUGE stock of caddies for them because the ones still in service already have caddies.
The only people stock piling them are people who will be getting a good price for them for years to come as people refuse to upgrade, need spares, want to expand old hardware, the same sort of people that still want to use windows XP.
