anyone know a small cheap vpn provider?
I used to use frostvpn but they must have changed management because their new client won't work with my online game (doesn't connect) and it really is hard to connect now.
I'm looking for a small vpn (not well known) because I don't want to risk sharing the same subnet ip with another gamer playing the same game.
Frostvpn was great because it was so cheap it didn't change your ip, it used the same ip each time you attached to a certain server. Meanwhile big vpn provider changes your ip each time you reconnect which sets off a "unlock flag" (you have to check your email and use the unlock code because you changed ips)
So again if anyone can point me towards cheap, unknown vpn providers that'll be great.

Some VPN providers will assign you your own IP if you pay a little bit extra, even if not advertised publicly. Might just contact some of the cheaper/smaller companies and ask.

You said you needed it for a game and didn't want the IP to change, so I assume you wanted a single IP, not 5. Finding a VPN provider who can offer a cheap dedicated IP will fix that problem forever.
Was just a suggestion, I don't have any to share that actually support most common desktop games.

I would go with a cheap yearly vps and run your own vpn. Its easy to do and way more secure
Yeah I suppose i have to set up my own vpn. Its just that I have other projects at hand with computers. Oh well usually when roadblocks happen like this it comes out as the best thing thats happened

@jacno I would get a cheap lowendspirit.com vps from @davidgestiondbi for like 3 dollars a year and then install OpenVPN using Nyr's script https://github.com/Nyr/openvpn-install

Installed openvpn and shadowsocks easily with scripts. Government keep banning vpn providers but im not affected so far.
I had virtwire vps but when virtwire closed they gave me +1 year free as a part of refugee plan.

Tried to use your VPN over 2 years and just skip all your downtimes because was dirt cheap.
May be just misconfigured OpenVPN or PPTP scripts from your side

Basicly what I am doing while sharing the vpn with about ~10 ppl. OP if you want a spot 5$ and you are in. VPS are prepaid until 2018 and looking to run ovpn atleast until then^^ However I would recommend you'd just setup ovpm yourself with some les offer. Just offering in case you cba to do so xD

Is there any specific reason the IP of anonymousvpn.eu's NL server (UDP connection) would show up for me as being identical to that of Windscribe VPN's NL server?
