Are there still issues with Online.net Dedibox SC/XC 2016 SATA HDD speeds?

I'm thinking of getting a Dedibox SC 2016 with the 1TB SATA HDD, but it seems the HDD versions have been plagued in the past with severe speed issues, particularly with very slow write I/O. Is this still the case?
