Want a good security suite for PC

I am looking to buy a complete security suite.

either kaspersky or eset.

which one you will use it?

  • I don't really think you'd need a full security suite.
Check how well the AVs do in tests, here

    Comedy "Linux" option goes here.

I've dealt with Kaspersky for years with Windows/Mac/Android because it ended up free after an extended-cash-loaned-to-them rebate. Kaspersky+Paid Malwarebytes tends to keep those who are a bit unwary or porn-happy mostly clean in my decade of experience, however, ESET is pretty darn good, too.

Kaspersky is somewhat popular in Australia on consumers (they had sponsorship deals with a football team).

Not really heard of ESET here, perhaps their target is EMEA only.

Malwarebytes combined with any security suite is best (to detect something that might of been missed. Just be careful with real-time protection and set exclusions if necessary but they should run well).

  • Emsisoft just fine for PC and mobile. Based in Austria. Low priced compared to other security products.

Kasperksy Internet Security is like Windows 10; a bit invasive (spend some time to turn things off like browser hijacking which is a "feature") but still light on resources while idling (<80MB RAM) and offers good detection/protection.

    • Keep your windows updated.
    • Adblockers help (remember to update your whitelist).
    • Don't be a tard, you didn't win that $1000 prize money and NO, lonely milfs in your neighborhood aren't waiting for you.
    • Use a sandbox.

When it comes to USB sticks, I always check them on Ubuntu before opening them on Windows.

1.Use Norton dns, a free layer of protection without any overhead.
2.Use emet, the best security tool from Microsoft.
3.Use any standalone antivirus like avast, panda cloud or avira for free and eset or fsecure or Kaspersky if you want to pay. I stay away from suites because all the other tools except the av are kind of useless.
    4. Always Keep windows firewall on.
5.You can also use bitdefender trafficlight addon for browsers and keyscambler (free personal edition). Both of them very light and you will never notice any lag.

I have been running this setup for years and totally satisfied. If you want to compare antivirus then visit https://www.av-comparatives.org/
