Colocrossing Buffalo is relocating to downtown Buffalo
ColoCrossing confirmed it will relocate from Williamsville to 325 Delaware Ave. in downtown Buffalo.
The move to the 9,000 square-foot, former National Gypsum Co. building will take place later this year.
The company needed the additional space to service customers.
ColoCrossing offers cloud computing, hosting and shared hosting. The tech company employs 27, and has plans to hire up to 15 more.

Moving to a much smaller place?
When will the americans give up their stupid feet, inches and miles and start using the metric system, like everyone else?
Probably at the same moment you stop driving on the opposite side of the road in the opposite side of the car.
@Corey but we drive on the right side ;-)
And even Britain now uses the metric system.
IIRC 50 years ago or so the US tried to flip to the metric system and it went... uh... well let's just say we still use the Imperial System (I believe that's what it's properly called.) Although, on some products you'll still see the metric system (i.e. mL and Oz)
I'm all for switching to the metric system as it makes more sense in my opinion, but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen anytime soon.
So all servers will be moved ?
Congrats on the expansion @jbiloh. Moving on up!
This is also used in UK they tried to change it but no one listened : D
I've not been in UK myself but i'm pretty sure they use metric now. Maybe they have both measurements on some products, but the metric is the first one.
Converting between Imperial and Metric isn't too bad if you can remember 5 pieces of information: a kilometer is 0.62 miles, a liter is about a 1/4 of a gallon, 32F/0C is freezing, 80F/27C is perfect warm weather and 212F/100C is boiling.
That wasn't too hard :-)
Generally speaking we've used metric for years, except where roads are concerned; all the signs are still in miles and speed limits use miles too.
There are a few other exceptions, here and there, but not many.
Car fanatics like to use KPH instead of MPH as it makes their Vauxhall Novas seem faster lol.
You that old? :P
Oz is not the metric system.
Anyway, I believe this is the building: https://www.google.com/maps/place/325+Delaware+Ave/@42.893146,-78.875954,3a,69.3y,98.14h,93.84t/data=!3m4!1e1!3m2!1sawEDLBy__iL8Obl-lBMD4A!2e0!4m2!3m1!1s0x89d3124e2cad94cd:0x2d80130bf5e95d85
Congrats to @jbiloh and the rest of ColoCrossing!
All current servers will be moved?
This is related to office space. There are no servers in Williamsville.
Will current servers be moved?
It sounds like that answer might be a no. If they're hiring 15 more people, I'm sure they're looking for a bigger building for just that.
The expansion is just for office space, we're going from 3500 sq ft in Williamsville to about 9000 in Downtown Buffalo.
Great
15 people need an additional 5500 sq ft in office space? I know it's New York and they banned the big gulp drinks and all that, but c'mon! we Americans are not that fat!
It's not the body weight. It's the ego that takes all the available space...
Not only would they gain potential offices, but leave a lot more room to expand in the future without having to relocate..again.
Lol, that ban is only NYC. Buffalo is the opposite end of the state.
Have you stepped outside and had a look around lately?
No thanks, that sounds like exercise. I'm too lazy, but not too fat. Hell, I'm probably the lightest weight user on this forum. 100 lbs. (not the currency, you EU people and your kilograms).
