Syslog in ubuntu taking 100%
I´ve updated my personal VPS to ubuntu 14.04 LTS and I´ve suddenly seen my CPU increasing to 100%+
Syslog seems to be the trouble-maker according to top:

Anyone that can help me?

Just remove rsyslogd if you don't use it, it's not generally needed
Thanks for the help.
If it's OpenVZ, there is a problem with rsyslog, don't know why. Try this, worked for me a little while before: https://clientarea.ramnode.com/knowledgebase.php?action=displayarticle&id=81
Seems like that got it sorted, can this topic be locked? Thanks!
You can also just use syslog-ng instead of rsyslog. rsyslog was better years ago but now I generally prefer syslog-ng anyways.
Thanks for the suggestion, but it seems like I got it sorted right now.
