How can a Vagrant box file be created from an existing VirtualBox vdi?
After converting a coLinux to VirtualBox .vdi I want to use Vagrant to manage it. However the documentation does not indicate how to create a box file from an already configured .vdi.
The Vagrant docs seem to require their .box files to be created from brand new OS installations, but this image is a highly tuned image, stripped down to the bare essentials. Reconstructing it from scratch is not an option.

vagrant box repackage NAME PROVIDER
What are NAME and PROVIDER? Is name the name of the VDI file or the VM's name?
Will that mean something like 'vagrant box repackage virtualbox.vdi virtualbox'?

After some searching the command that I need is
It creates the .box file from your own Virtualbox image that you have spent some time updating.
