Is there a way to access only certain sites via a proxy (i.e. imgur in the UK)
by Kodomu ·I'd be sceptical if this can work with a standard VPS, Imgur is already very happy to block most VPN IPs, so I suspect they would block many datacentre ones as well. You might need a residential proxy -
Is there a way to access only certain sites via a proxy (i.e. imgur in the UK)
by emperor ·With my router this one is easy to setup. Just up some vpn (can add multiple vpns) and add https://imgur.com to include list and thats it. Every site which i open would be from my home ip except https -
Is there a way to access only certain sites via a proxy (i.e. imgur in the UK)
by hostnoob ·This is what I was thinking. imgur is blocked in the UK, but so many places use/have used it in the past that it makes browsing the web annoying. I also don't want to go through a VPN all of the time -

What happened to CloudCone? Was it hacked?
by matey0 ·Not too familiar with Virtualizor, but if these don't strictly have to be publicly accessible, any future providers who get hit by this due to being too retarded to lock their shit down behind a VPN s -

You might NOT need a DMCA-ignored server... My custom solution explained
by buzzyLET ·Can you go into more detail about how to do this and how it helps things? I'm still unclear what windscribe is doing behind the scenes to determine if it's datacenter use or what and I dont love that. -
You might NOT need a DMCA-ignored server... My custom solution explained
by MrMonkey ·I have to say: naive, if you expect any VPN service not to attempt to curve abuse less that can ignore the legal threats from said abuse. Country of incorporation is key there. -

You might NOT need a DMCA-ignored server... My custom solution explained
by buzzyLET ·I'm less worried about complaints as many VPNs are set up with p2p severs etc, and more worried because I've found out Windscribe doesn't permit use in datacenters. I wasn't sure how common that was. -
You might NOT need a DMCA-ignored server... My custom solution explained
by hexilord ·As for the VPN provider, mainly depends on whether they have an API and your automation efforts if they don't. -

You might NOT need a DMCA-ignored server... My custom solution explained
by hexilord ·The solution I posted is battle-tested and worry-free (and cheap!), perhaps you might think it is an overkill, but it is really just a reverse HTTP proxy with a VPN in front, deployed in Docker. I jus -

You might NOT need a DMCA-ignored server... My custom solution explained
by buzzyLET ·As an aside can anyone recommend VPNs that would be safe to use? It looks like Windscribe prohibits VPN use in a datacenter environment so be aware of that if anyone was thinking of using that -
