When did you set up your DNS entries?

Can't use OVH/Runabove. I am running high pps/qps DNS resolvers and OVH kept either shutting down the machines or the machines crashed without reason. That's when I moved to Viking Layer.

HTTPS version of LET? I don't think it'd be TOO difficult... could either switch DNS to Cloudflare (free) or you could buy a PositiveSSL cert from Comodo for like $9... even my website is HTTPS....

It's just the base domain for reverse DNS of their whole network, you can traceroute on IPv4 to www.online.net and you will see it. Also they have this website: http://www.poneytelecom.eu/

I'm looking at expanding a dynamic dns service so after some new VPS nodes. Although 'touch wood' I haven't had any ddos issues so far but with this type of service the probability is higher.

BTW, perhaps your servers dns server is down.

DNS would vary domain to domain as they probably have several servers with different DNS. Although usually theres a "reset to defaults" option.

It's pointless. IP can be spoofed. DNS or NTP amplification is also another thing.
