On a related note, is there a way to automate the hostname resolution? My idea is to have wildcard match for all hostnames in the domain and nginx would resolve the hostname to the corresponding NAT I

BTW, regarding Wildcard certs, there is Comodo Multi-Domain Wildcard SSL, each wildcard cost 53$, that is quite low price for good SSL.

You can still get a Wildcard SSL for $42. They have the GGSSL for $42 although I don't know if its in all the cert stores.

42 bucks for a wildcard. Now it's almost double that. Oh well.

Apart from owning hardware and IP space I don't think so. They colocate at rapidswitch and wildcard. Rapidswitch just like Oktay colocated.

Pretty much this. I ended up getting a wildcard cert from IPXCore cuz it was the cheapest I found. StartSSL wanted me to pay 29 bucks per cert to revoke them, which is insane considering how bad Heart
