I make that from time to time, especially for raw windows disk under proxmox to defrag them.

fio Disk Speed Tests (Mixed R/W 50/50) (Partition /dev/sda2):---------------------------------Block Size | 4k (IOPS) | 64k (IOPS) ------ | --- ---- | ----

so to clarify, only ftp is effected. if i did a speedtest, upload would be normal right

vps on a 9950x yes ! Notice only UPLOAD speed (vps to some ftp) is problematic : it start ok but a few secondes later, it decrease to less than a 100Mbps network card.

none of our settings such as network password or disk size to apply when the VM is created. We are working on this.

Network: at least 1gbps speed + 50-100TB traffic (willing to buy extra TBs also if it's cheap)
