I think you misunderstand how PayPal subscriptions work, we certainly don't charge customer accounts. A subscription is when a PayPal customer instructs PayPal to send the merchant money automatically

That is why paypal is who you use to pay the merchant, but you use a credit card on paypal as they can step in to resolve these issues.
