SSL or wildcard SSL?

Hello I can tell you I bought a $20 a year wildcard ssl from one of the members here in let. It had it in his signature a link to it. and it was way cheaper than paying the ssl provider directly.

Looks like I will consider moving to https early next year. Wildcard SSL still expensive though, I need it for the CDN (using MaxCDN).

Well if you REALLY want cheap, then use CloudFlare and they provide a free wildcard SSL.. But it won't be registered to you.

EDIT: If someone should intentionally try to open another domain with HTTPS, he'll get a certificate warning though, as the wildcard isn't valid for that domain.

Please educate me... If I get a wildcard Cert, can I use it with this single shared IP ?

@XeepiHosting_Joe if you are seriously planning to offer 5 year wildcard ssl then count me in for few certs p.s. lower prices would be awesome.

get a 5 YEAR wildcard cert at sslcertificate.cn for under 40 bucks !! But you will have to get payment problems solved first.
