I think not possible with HostBrr as you don't have root access. For sshfs to work as root you definitely need root access on the other end as well (Image)

If you want to mount it on your VPS, first check if Hostbrr supports Samba (SMB) or NFS - many storage boxes only allow FTP or SFTP. If Samba/NFS isn’t available, you can still use rclone mount over S

HostBrr storagebox does have rclone support, to use it you also have to install rclone locally on your VPS
