The @Traffic thread really woke me up to how profitable affiliate schemes can be (With him claiming he can make over $180/mth just from EthernetServers.

He needs at least 2GB RAM, so the best I can recommend him is to choose one of these plans from EthernetServers. Make sure you choose Los Angeles as the network is much better there.
