And whenever it reboots, even from software, the VM gets reset to the "stopped" state and must be manually started up from the dashboard. I'll open a ticket for that soon.

I have considered a possible explanation for this issue: perhaps the billing date and the traffic allowance reset date are different.

Metered VPS plans will be throttled to 10Mbps after the included monthly transfer allowance has been exceeded. Normal plan speed will return after the next monthly transfer reset.

16-32gb ram works, any disk, any network. Don't need port 80/443/ftp email etc.
