My rule of thumb for buying a domain is I'd go for real accredited registrar, not reseller. Should be less issue with them for the initial reg. After it was successfully reg, 2nd year onward should be

your VPS probably didn’t teleport its routing did (or the VM got migrated and IP re-announced).

There's no threat to receive incoming email. I transferred my HostSailor vps when it came up for renewal, but while I had it I used it for my own incoming mail server.

I'm also looking for a similar storage VPS with specs as above, Amsterdam/Germany preferred. Annual payment preferred.
