Yep. I too have to use VPN to access DA panel and the site.

For me, it's the opposite, they are blocking my residential IP. I have to use a VPN to do stuff in DA.

We are implementing a full network-wide audit today and moving any IPMI/iDrac private with VPN/DCIM access.

Standard deployment practice for any IPMI on our network moving forward will be provided to the end user with a VPN. In addition, this is already in practice with most servers that have been deployed

How are your IPMI systems secured w/ your dedicated servers? Do they run on a public IP address or inside a private network with a vpn jump host for your clients and public access blocked?
