Open vpn

Looking at that, idle server for me would be something really close to my physical location along with unlimited bandwidth at a modest 1G link.. Would be nice to have multiple cores since VPN tunnels

@kv1108 what are you using for VPN? Openvpn/WireGuard/?

may be using vpn with your home ip may fix or getting some residential ip for vpn but does it worth effort?

Network to Asia is not great. It's being routed from Asia to the US to Europe, around 300ms. If I vpn to Hong Kong, I can get a direct connection ~ 190ms, but the upload is < 1mbps (Cogent).

It is a bit spendy but I bought a lifetime pass on a blackfriday special several years ago and they honor it. I know if I paid monthly or yearly, I would have spent more $ on it by now than what I did

Customer installed VPN and their computers tries to ping Microsoft, but couldn't get to Microsoft due to incompetence of the network person from the hosting provider.
