I'm not certain about that. I'm also unsure if it's free, but I generally avoid free VPNs. Free services aren't always truly free—often, you end up being the product.

Some of the VPN providers use their servers. Next time you are no Nord, Astrill etc, you are probably going throug Host.al

If some or all lifetime customers get another bill to keep the service alive, then it might be nice for those clients to have the option of paying another lifetime fee.
