I took a poke through this thread and seems I may have nothing to worry about (unless I missed something). I use Namesilo and have 4 domains there. Mostly for DNSSEC because Namecheap wouldn't do it

My classic use case is for select ecommerce sites but also to further 'isolate', when for example using a specific domain for Nextcloud. DNS server doesn't come into it, as it's a waste of time/effort

IP ensures no bans for clones, plus lets me set rDNS for a vanity vhost on networks that don't mask hostnames. That's a pretty specific use case though.

I do remember mention of a DNS server (I'm guessing instead of really running 2 servers, one server will take care of both entries in domain name record?)...
