Torrenting is good amount of Internet traffic. DMCA being followed in EU countries is slavery but yes they have their own copyright laws too.

Even @cociu will not tolerate poorly configured torrent clients raping the disk. Most providers are probably ok with torrenting if no DMCA issues and no raping of the disk, but most clients do not tor
