most DDoS attacks will hit your server, down it, and THEN arbor kicks in. Its really annoying.

We received a major L7 DDoS attack a few minutes ago and have already properly mitigated it.

There is no option to enable it manually, the protection is activated once Hetzner detects DDoS attack on their routers and sends notification.
