I've purchased their RS 1000 SSD G8 (with same spec) on 30 jun 2018 for 8.99 eur/month (monthly billing), and now https://netcup.de/bestellen/produkt.php?produkt=2184 10,99€ on monthly billing

So according to https://www.netcup-sonderangebote.de/allgemein/30-euro-wechselrabatt/ you can get 30€ off your order if you move from another provider to netcup. This also works for existing accounts.

I agree that the fact that netcup charges VAT to non-EU private persons is not so great.

But the netcup box with "bad IO for weeks" and no further details (open a ticket?) seemed to be an unnecessary addition and not useful.
