Who have the better peering/connectivity within western EU, Hetzner or NetCup? I imagine Hetzner is the bigger brand of the two so has more peering arrangements etc?

Got one from them, looking for another one from a different provider.

UltraVPS is Falzo-approved and that's enough to make them interesting; bw limit is way smaller than netcup's and they count ingress too; w/ BF discount should come in for ~€33,60 (annually, w/o VAT).

I've gotten 3€ recurring Lightserver NVMe KVM and Netcup VPS 500 too.

I plan to decide on a (non-netcup) KVM today.

I've also grabbed Netcup VPS 500, but I think I will buy Liteserver.nl 3€ instead. Which one to keep? Approximately same price.

A kostenlos Plesk hosting from Netcup,

hmm a watch, a fridge, a cheap flight, two netcup vserver, a very special @clouvider dedi.

Is there a reason to keep Hetzner and netcup outside of the category "BF/CM" and leave "Hukot.net" in it? I guess none. To me this "split" is sim

Probably stick with netcup 8GB+ SSD then. You can't do anything about network latency. Any VPS in EU will be 99% same assuming the ping is similar.

my current gitlab is at netcup with 8cores https://i.imgur.com/UY9TMcv.png and i still feel its slow.

If 6gb ram is your minimum, a Netcup VPS might be ideal value for money.

(But netcup should see that there are clever people who out-clever them. )

i am about to end service with netcup and looking for a good deal for gitlab, which is becoming hungry for resources.

It's true that the sale is announced at exactly the planned time at https://www.netcup-sonderangebote.de/ , but this doesn't mean that the promotion is strictly first available at that time. Na ja, ..

Aha! That explains a lot! So, the announced time doesn't play any role and every good deal will be out of stock even before being available at https://www.netcup-sonderangebote.de/

Strange things... 08:27, VPS 200 G8 appears at https://www.netcup-sonderangebote.de/ and immediately I try to get it but "The product VPS 200 G8 BF is currently out of stock" &gt

https://www.netcup-news.de/2018/11/20/fahrplan-in-den-black-friday-2018/

In the past netcup has often replenished stock even if the time slot was already over, so you could check back.
