As an example, I use some "root servers" from Netcup with dedicated cpu threads. The performance is outstanding and much better from more expensive low end dedicated servers I have.

I had purchased one other Root server with netcup, it has about 48GB RAM, more HDD space, but I need to figure out how to do Windows there, I am sure, I need to use that box.

Unfortunately, netcup's largest webhosting plan only allows total of 24 hosted domains (12 included domains + 12 external domains).

Netcup was running a free 12 months plesk hosting offer on their Sonderangebote site a few days ago. Regardless, their normal priced plans are still pretty cheap.
