I dunno, the error messages are pretty clear wanting large dir support enabled. I wouldn't have thought google would let you down on that.

This error means you're hitting the max h-tree size, and don't have large_dir enabled. You can use tune2fs -O large_dir /dev/whatever to enable large_dir, but it should be very rarely required

Did it give you a "The Username You Entered Could Not be Found on Our System" error or did it say that the password reset email has been send to your email address.

BetterUptime for websites, just a simple GET, might change it to include some keyword to not say it's up if WP is showing a database error for example. It can do that.
