I'm hoping for offers with a 1GBPS port, lot of the offers i find are limited to 100mbps, while the speed may be fine, it's often a drawback in particular for it's speedy connection and burst capacity

We’re moving the disk images as a whole so your existing OS should just work once it’s moved over. (Unless you have some arbitrary settings which haven’t been used since the beginning of time.)

Yep. When I push a bootscript via the API, in the OVH website I no longer have the boot info (disk or rescue), it's blank. And when I restart the server it runs my script.
