@hhadmin Your Russia and Lithuania locations sound interesting (due to being unusual). Do you have any test IPs for them?

Here is a nice map of various cables (mainly owned by Rostelecom and partners) which route to China etc. over Russia and Europe:

(The cable is owned by China Telecom as well, and runs landline with 2 paths through the EU and Russia)

Or maybe we can buy some refurbished "space object" from Russia?

Estonia? What? Where’s that? Well it’s a small place wedged between Latvia and Russia over the ditch from Finland. It’s also home to TORQhost whom offer KVM, Xen PV and OpenVZ Plans.

If I remember correctly Königsberg it's Russia now

I have a permanent access key which I will be willing to sell for the handsome price of 999 cookies, shipped directly to Russia, milk does not need to be included.

@Taylor. In Russia that would still mean a downtime of 140-100.100 = 39.9%!

If you can't get Moscow you could check Ukraine, for Russia I suggest to get a location on east, like novosibirsk that is over Kazahkstan.

@Oliver probably because Russia doesn't need to care about USA and EU laws, so they could host more controversial content in Russia.

Am also interested in why many are so interested in something hosted in Russia... Can someone clarify?

Why russia so much? You plan on a pro-putin site?

You could check sinet.ir , they route through russia (rostelecom.ru) (Image)
