You need configure Domain Forwarding from control panel (use a domain/subdomain doesn't matter) by following instructions on screen & adding an A record to DNS.

You might be familiar with my previous work at perfops/dnsperf/cdnperf. Unfortunately those services were commercial with VC backing and inevitably they failed.

Even if you went over 1Gbps, why not just get a second 1Gbps VPS and round-robin the DNS to serve up twice as many viewers? Sure to be cheaper than a 10Gbps port.

It's easier to move the application to another host if it has its own IP address then you don't even have to update the DNS.

I noticed NextDNS provides "secure" DNS and does some kind of analysis on your traffic. I've not used it, but it seems one of its mode of operations is to use IPv6 DNS servers 2a07:a

Have you heard of a firewall? You just limit to home IP. If that changes often, you need ddns and periodically check it to update firewall.
